We made some important stops in California’s Central Valley after our show at The Partisan on Saturday night.
As we headed south towards Texas we ate tri-tip at my favorite tri-tip place in Traver, CA. We also ate tacos at my favorite taco truck in Earlimart, CA. After we were completely filled with meat and feeling really, really fat, we watched the sunset somewhere around Bakersfield.
In short, when I grow up, I want to be Huell Howser.

We’re playing three shows at this year’s SXSW. We figured one show a day is the right amount. That should leave us plenty of time to get exercise, eat right and get good rest while we’re in Austin.
Our official showcase is on Saturday at the Whiskey Room and we’re playing two day parties. One party on Thursday and one on Friday. Hope to see you all there!
We just picked up all the new Rademacher vinyl from Capsule Labs. Capsule Labs is a local record pressing facility that also does mastering and direct-to-disc recording. The product looks and sounds great. We can’t wait to unleash these on the planet.
